I'm Aspen, the Director of Feline Relations at Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. Welcome to a Walking Tour of my home!
Of course, when I ponder over it, the most important part of our practice is our kindhearted staff but those quirky humans decided to be camera shy. Doesn't matter though because I'm quiet photogenic.... onward to the next slide.
This is my favorite part of our waiting room because I like to look at the pictures of all my friends and think about how great it is to help them and their families.
We have 5 pet and people friendly exam rooms at Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. My good friend Grace, Director of Canine Relations, gladly volunteered for this picture thereby saving me the trouble leaping onto a chilly table...(ah dogs, gotta love'em, they'll do almost anything for a biscuit).
Two heads can be better then one--especially when ear mites, intestinal parasites etc.. are squirming around on a slide.. this microscope offers one way to show petparents what is going on with their pets. Anyhow, this is as close as I'm supposed to get to the nearby Idexx lab- what is the big deal about furballs and electronics????
Oh, I just love to be dressed up like this to illustrate we can provide thorough dental prophylaxis for pets. Well I'm such a good sport because I know its bad to have "dog breath" if you're a dog and especially if you're a cat like me ( think zillions of bacteria partying in your pet's mouth)! More importantly, dental disease can also affect our major organs if left untreated and that's really bad.
Ultrasound, smalltrasound! Don't know why the humans get so excited about this contraption. Something about amazing, non-invasive diagnostic tool or whatever... yawnnn
OK-someone promised me a lot more fun than this if I would leap through the open door...Well, the Snyder Intensive Care unit doesn't impress me one bit--especially this climatically-controlled oxygen chamber
This is one of our hospital rooms - cozy, clean and comfortable complete with compassionate medical supervision and outstanding room service( fleece blankets rock!).
Wow Grace, your teeth look really strange on this digital X-ray -- no obvious cavities, by the way!
Well, being the charming and witty tour guide is very tiring, time for a catnap. Hope you enjoyed seeing the inside of Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital and I look forward to meeting you sometime. Until then take good care of yourself and your pets. ZZZZZZZZZ
